Design is very much about influencing people (positively). Knowing basic human psychological principles allows us to do just that. I’m a firm believer in having a solid grasp on human behavior/psychology as this allows you to better understand those whom you are designing for. Many designers often overlook website design psychology, since, at first-thought it seems like a completely unrelated field offering very little use to designers, when in fact, it is the complete opposite. Knowing the three fundamental psychological principles I cover in this video will allow you to create an intuitive user experience within your websites, and, in turn have your websites fulfill their purpose (whether that is to sell, inform etc). Does design psychology interest you? Let me know your thoughts on these concepts in the comments section.
